Meet The Team
I was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada and studied Biology, specialized in Biodiversity, Ecology and Environment.
In 2012, I graduated from University of Montreal with a B.Sc. and the following year, decided to enroll in a Veterinary Technician program in order to perfect my knowledge in animal care. Since 2008, I have worked as a veterinary technician in several clinics, rescues and hospitals.
In 2018, I started WNC Pet Care in Asheville, NC with the help of my fiance, Tyler. We have since then offered outstanding services and made many friends!
Former Pet Sitter
I graduated in 2011 from the University of Southern Indiana with a bachelor’s degree in Individual Studies with an emphasis in Nutrition and minors in Marketing and Business. While working towards my degree I opened my first yoga studio in 2007, which would be the first of three. In 2010 I graduated from massage therapy school. I’m a licensed massage therapist specializing in pain management modalities. I hold two state licenses to practice in Kentucky and North Carolina. I’m also a Certified Transformational Life Coach, Bowen Therapy Practitioner, and hold a 200 hour RYT.
Although, my career path has led me to work mainly with people, I’ve spent my free time caring for our furry friends. I grew up on a small farm in southern Missouri. It was there that I learned to treasure our four legged family members.
I started rescuing animals in 2004. In 2013 my husband and I started a small domestic cat rescue on our property in southern Illinois.
We decided to move to Asheville in 2019 after vacationing here several times over the course of six years. We fell in love with the people and the simplistic charm of the area. We were also drawn to the like mindedness in terms of animal care and safety practices.
I’m truly honored to be a part of such an amazing community! I’m looking forward to helping care for your furry family members!
